Cafe by the Ruins and Cafe by the Ruins Dua has a wide-spread of a local variety of produce and dishes that a must try for anyone who's visiting Baguio City anytime soon. Café by the Ruins has always made it a point to source its materials from local farmers and growers hoping to encourage and stimulate local economies and organic agricultural practices.
The menu changes every four months to feature the best of what is in season in Baguio. The suppliers for chocolate, coffee, and milk are from all over the country ranging from Davao to the Cordillera. The chicken, fish, meat and vegetables served in the café are bought at the Baguio market, a central depot for all the produce of northern Luzon.
Cafe by The Ruins Carabao Cheese Salad:
Carabao cheese coated in bread crumbs and sesame seeds then deep fried in batter and searved on a bed of garden fresh greens and vinegarette - a crowd favorite. The kesong puti or carabao cheese comes from Pangasinan or Nueva Ecija.

Smoked Baguio-style longganisa made in the Cafe Dua. Served with tomatoes, garlic rice and egg of your choice. Special because it’s longer than the average longganisa and we use lots of garlic and pepper! A full breakfast is served with your choice of coffee, tea or juice and a fruit cup.

The camote bread is a specialty and best seller -soft and sweet bread flavored with camote and molasses. Serve it with a wide selection of spreads; Herbed Liver Paté; a butter-rich chicken liver spread seasoned with rosemary, sage and laurel leaf, best served cold, Herb Cheese; Cream cheese, yogurt and butter with garlic and chives, In-house Jams with Butter an option of strawberry jam and guava jam depending on what's in season, Kesong Puti and Basil; carabao cottage cheese with fresh leaves of one their all time favorit herb and Honey-Butter Spread; creamy butter sweetened by our local honey.
